Cassis is a French Rivera town in the South of France and sits along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. One of the main attractions right outside Cassis is the Calanques National Park. Hiking the calanques is a must as the trail hugs the Mediterranean coast and offers amazing views of the calanques and the sea. This hike was by far my favorite part out of my six-day trip around the South of France.
Filled with mountains and valleys, gorges and lakes, and luscious green grass and trees, Transylvania’s beautiful scenery was like no other place I’ve visited. A great home base for exploring Transylvania is Cluj-Napoca, sitting right in the heart of Transylvania. I spent a day and a half visiting the many scenic attractions around Cluj, driving and hiking in the mountains, while returning to my Airbnb in Cluj every night.
If you haven’t visited Cluj-Napoca in Romania, then it’s time to start planning your next trip! I visited Cluj for the first time and loved everything about it. The city is easy to navigate with beautiful architecture, the cafes and restaurants have well thought-out décor, and the surrounding landscape is stunning. But most of all, the people are so friendly and welcoming!
